Job summary

Coos County is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and overhauling of County Road vehicles and equipment in the Road Department shop. This role requires extensive experience, including knowledge of gas and diesel engines, transmission systems, and hydraulics.

The position operates Monday through Thursday on a 4 x 10 schedule, with some weekend and Friday work required. The County offers excellent health insurance benefits for employees and eligible family members, along with a 6% County paid contribution to the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System.

Qualifications

• Five years of relatable work experience in a maintenance shop.

Requires five years of relatable work experience in a maintenance shop, thorough knowledge of gas and diesel engines,transmissions, hydraulics, and related shop techniques.
