Job summary

Pyka is seeking a software engineer to own the path our software takes from development to the fleet. You will span the full aircraft software stack—autonomy, controls, avionics interfaces, and ground systems—reproducing issues from flight logs and building tests for regression.

You’ll shape what ships, when, and how we release, while improving tooling and automation. Responsibilities include end-to-end release management, cross-team bug triage, and delivering production-quality code in C++17

Qualifications

• Experience writing production-grade C++17 code for complex systems.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release automation across fleets.
• Ability to debug and triage issues across multiple subsystems

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end release process for aircraft software and determine what ships.
• Triaging and root-cause analysis of field-reported issues across the full stack.
• Decide on hotfixes vs. next-release changes with clear test cases.
• Contribute to testing infrastructure, tooling, and automated release steps.
