Job summary

Bland Landscaping Company in Durham, NC is seeking an Automotive & Equipment Mechanic to keep our fleet and landscape gear running smoothly. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on light/medium trucks, trailers, commercial mowers, tractors, and attachments, with seasonal snow equipment support.

A valid NC driver’s license and 3 years of related experience are expected; ASE or small-engine certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a mechanic on automotive vehicles and small engines.
• Strong diagnostic skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• ASE or manufacturer-specific small engine certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles (light/medium-duty trucks, vans, trailers).
• Diagnose and repair brakes, suspensions, steering, electrical, and exhaust systems.
• Service landscaping equipment: mowers, blowers, trimmers, tractors, skid steers.
