Job summary

The City of Wyoming is seeking a Fleet Services Utility or Senior Technician to join its Fleet Services Division. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair a range of city vehicles and equipment, from fire trucks to police cars, with support for licensing and certifications.

State of Michigan certification or ASE certification is required, along with a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Must hold State of Michigan certification or ASE certification.
• Valid State of Michigan Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repair of vehicles and equipment.
• Work on equipment including fire trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, street sweepers, hydro excavators, police cars, and mowers.
• Assist in planning and prioritizing a diverse workload within Fleet Services.
