Job summary

Hirschbach Motor Lines, LLC is seeking a diesel fleet technician to diagnose and repair our Freightliner, Kenworth, and International trucks. This role involves preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and documenting repairs in our system.

You will work with a team, maintain safety standards, and participate in ongoing training on diesel technology and diagnostic tools. A strong mechanic background and CDL eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience in Fleet Maintenance or technical school degree preferred.
• Experience with repair/maintenance/diagnosis of Class 8 equipment.
• Experience with welding on varying materials.
• Basic computer skills for diagnostic tooling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair our fleet — Freightliner, Kenworth and International trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, brakes, suspension/steering, after-treatment, charging, and A/C.
• Accurately record repairs, parts use, and warranty details.
• Follow safety and quality standards in every job.
• Communicate clearly with drivers and fleet management.
• Ongoing training in diesel technology and diagnostic tools.
