Job summary

Jim Glover Chevrolet in Tulsa, OK is seeking Fleet Technicians to maintain, inspect, and repair vehicles in the service bay. You will use diagnostic tools and work with service advisors to inform customers of needed repairs.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service skills. ASE certifications are encouraged but not required; growth opportunities exist within a family-owned dealership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience (fleet/auto) or related field.
• ASE Certification preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and read repair manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance per repair orders and dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose systems using diagnostic tools.
• Repair engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional recommended services.
• Provide accurate time estimates for repairs and warranty work.
