Job summary

Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) seeks a Fleet Service Worker to fuel, clean, and prepare buses and BEV/ manejar vehicles for service. You will assist mechanics, log vehicle data, and keep maintenance areas orderly, contributing to on-time operations in Aspen/ Colorado.

A strong safety mindset is essential. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and ability to pass DOT and state certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Colorado license within 90 days.
• DOT Physical Exam and CNG/UST/CNG certification requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Fueling, charging, cleaning, and preparing buses and vans for service.
• Operate and park buses and maintenance vehicles per policy.
• Assist mechanics and document maintenance actions.
• Record mileage, fuel use, and vehicle data in fleet systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and attend safety meetings.
