Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to improve reliability of vehicle fleet uptime by performing root cause analysis on trending vehicle issues and designing scalable fixes.

You will work with engineering and operations teams to develop robust testing procedures and operational metrics. The role requires a BS/MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in automotive hardware/software, and experience with AV components such as LiDAR, RADAR, and cameras.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
  • 5+ years experience working with automotive hardware and software.
  • Experience with software/hardware reliability and testing.
  • Experience with AV components (LiDAR, RADAR, Cameras, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Improve reliability of vehicle fleet uptime by performing root cause analysis on trending vehicle issues.
  • Design long term fixes through fleet scalable solutions.
  • Create, implement, and maintain robust testing procedures, diagnostic tools, and operational metrics to maximize fleet uptime, safety, and overall vehicle stability.
  • Track down why systems fail or underperform out on the road, and use those findings to help us build stronger, more reliable vehicles.
  • Work cross functionally with engineering and operations teams for escalations and collaboration on reliability improvements to our fleets with demo and testing performance.
