Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to improve fleet uptime through root cause analysis and scalable fixes. You will design robust testing, diagnostic tools, and metrics to maximize safety and performance across autonomous systems.

This role requires 5+ years in automotive hardware/software, hands-on testing experience, and collaboration with engineering and operations to drive reliability improvements for AV platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years in automotive hardware/software environments
• Strong experience with reliability testing and root-cause analysis
• Experience with AV components (LiDAR, RADAR, Cameras)

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability of vehicle fleet uptime by performing root cause analysis on trending vehicle issues
• Design long-term fixes through fleet-scale solutions
• Create, implement, and maintain robust testing procedures, diagnostic tools, and metrics to maximize fleet uptime and safety
• Identify why systems fail or underperform on the road and apply findings to build more reliable vehicles
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams for escalations and reliability improvements
