Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a preventive maintenance technician in Savannah, GA to service the newest fleet and ensure top condition for customers. You will learn through the Technician Training Program, work with Ford and GMC training and receive tools provided by the company.

Responsibilities include securing trucks on lifts, performing oil changes, tire and brake maintenance, and occasional road tests. Protective gear may be used.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude required, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills beneficial for maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
