Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician in Ohio to service and maintain our latest fleet. You will secure trucks, perform oil changes, tire and brake work, and occasionally road-test vehicles using a proprietary pre-inspection checklist.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Regular attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
• Team members are expected to assist in additional areas as necessary.
