Job summary

Walmart seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician in Searcy, AR to perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on trailers, tractors, yard trucks, and service vehicles. You will create and process work orders, assess needs, identify parts, and implement effective solutions while adhering to DOT guidelines and Walmart policies.

You will communicate with customers, suppliers, and associates, document work, and maintain safety and quality standards to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to intermediate inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs and replacements on Walmart equipment following company guidelines (trailers, tractors, yard trucks, shop equipment, service vehicles).
• Creates and processes work orders, assesses maintenance needs, identifies parts and possible solutions, and selects best options.
• Repairs and replaces components (e.g., brake systems, wheel seals, tires) per DOT guidelines and company procedures.
• Communicates with customers, suppliers, associates verbally and in writing; completes logs and documents as required.
