Job summary

Southern Nuclear in Birmingham, AL seeks a Fleet Plant Support Electrical/I&C and Digital Manager to lead a group of engineers responsible for governance, asset management, and technical support across sites. You will drive fleet improvements, own component asset management, and participate in industry working groups.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Engineering, 10+ years in power plants (nuclear preferred), and 3+ years of supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of power plant experience is required; nuclear experience preferred.
• Site supervision experience of 3+ years is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead individuals across the fleet to improve performance.
• Drive plant reliability improvements across the fleet.
• Provide governance and technical oversight for major components and fleets.
• Engage with INPO and other organizations on inspections and issues resolution.
• Interface with site and fleet engineering management on decisions and process improvements.
• Travel and work callouts as needed; Birmingham Engineering Duty Manager on a schedule.
