The Boring Company in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a seasoned Fleet Manager to lead our truck driver team and oversee fleet operations supporting production sites. You will set performance metrics, hire and train drivers, and ensure regulatory CDL compliance while coordinating maintenance and onboarding of new equipment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience with internal fleet / driver management.
• Possess a current CDL.
• Strong organizational and task-switching skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize changing priorities.
• Proficiency in inventory management and procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of Boring Company truck drivers.
• Assign tasks, set metrics and ensure targets are met; lead shift troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
• Hire, onboard and train drivers; ensure CDL compliance.
• Fleet registration: maintain accurate fleet records and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee onboarding of new equipment, including inspection and integration.
• Define a preventive maintenance program and ensure on-time PMs.
• Organize inventory of trucks, equipment and parts for 100% accuracy.
