Job summary

PepsiCo is hiring a Fleet Manager to oversee the company’s transportation fleet, negotiate contracts, and optimize vehicle procurement and maintenance. You will drive cost efficiency, manage maintenance contracts, and coordinate with suppliers and finance to ensure smooth operations for sales and deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5-8 years experience in mechanical or equipment engineering, logistics and transportation.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an efficient fleet to support sales, deliveries and staff transportation needs.
• Manage economical use of fleet funds and negotiate terms of service contracts with suppliers.
• Prepare serviceable vehicles and oversee fleet maintenance and replacements.
• Negotiate offers from trade for vehicles, select brands and prices, and execute contracts.
• Coordinate with finance to ensure timely supplier payments and avoid penalties.
