Paragon Pro Rentals in Krugerville, TX seeks an Operations Manager to supervise fleet operations, lead shop technicians and drivers, and coordinate with management, parts, and customers to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in fleet management, equipment administration, or related roles.
• Strong leadership skills with prior experience managing teams (mechanics, technicians, drivers).
• Prefer understanding of heavy equipment maintenance, trucking logistics, and fleet lifecycle management.
• Financial and budgeting skills; ability to manage costs, track ROI, and forecast capital needs.
• Analytical and detail-oriented; able to make data-driven decisions.
• Tech savvy: comfortable with tracking platforms.
• Hands-on and approachable - comfortable working with technicians and operators.
• Service-driven - balancing the needs of the team and company while upholding accountability.
• Relationship builder: sales-minded, with ability to represent the company and build vendor/partner relationships.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage the full fleet of 100+ units, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
• Lead mechanic/technician teams to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Oversee trucking logistics team, coordinating movement of equipment across projects.
• Align equipment resources with project schedules and track utilization.
• Develop and manage budgets for repairs, lifecycle management, and capex.
• Implement tracking systems for equipment usage, performance, and costs.
• Forecast equipment needs with project managers to optimize deployment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and policies.
• Maintain audit readiness and ensure DOT-compliant equipment regimens.
• Develop accurate customer quotes and manage required shop/regulatory documentation.
• Ensure use of approved suppliers and adherence to internal controls.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication to drive service excellence.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
