Job summary

Mudflap in Austin, TX seeks a Customer Onboarding Specialist to guide fleets from application to active use of the Mudflap fuel card. You will drive activation and retention, collaborating with teams to scale via AI initiatives and a PLG approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role (onboarding, success, sales or support).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust quickly.
• Highly responsive with ability to meet customer needs.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume startup environments.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and tasks simultaneously; strong time management.
• Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and openness to new systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead customers through stages of the fuel card journey, from application to first swipe completion.
• Educate customers on Mudflap’s fuel card and related platforms.
• Monitor progress using CRM tools (HubSpot) and document interactions.
• Identify and resolve onboarding barriers, escalating when needed.
• Proactively engage customers to drive initial usage and long-term retention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine PLG and scalable practices.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences with professionalism and empathy.
