Job summary

Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia, seeks a Deployed Forces Support Coordinator to assist the Deployed Forces Manager with professional recreation program management and training for afloat units and shore personnel. The incumbent supports homeport and visiting fleet units with recreation and fitness services, and helps coordinate fleet events and workshops.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of recreation program administration and Navy policies.
• Ability to manage budgets including APF and NAF funds.
• Strong written and oral communication for shipboard and fleet coordination.
• Experience maintaining and reporting CNIC/MWR program data.

Responsibilities

• Assist shipboard recreation personnel management and department prep for inspections.
• Prepare procurement documents for APF and NAF funds.
• Design shipboard fitness spaces and maintain equipment.
• Provide on-board support to ships with briefs and equipment assistance.
• Coordinate fitness repair workshops and shipboard disposal of equipment.
• Maintain inventory and prepare reports for CNIC/Deployed Forces requirements.
• Deliver MWR program information to the shipboard community and visiting units.
