Job summary
Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic/Vehicle Technician to diagnose and repair engines, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, and diesel emission components. The role operates in a full-time shift with a sign-on bonus and potential Saturday work.
Qualified candidates should have experience with scan tools, laptop diagnostics, and the ability to work independently or in a team. DOT considerations and safety requirements apply, with earnings in the stated hourly range
Qualifications
- Experience using diagnostic scan tools and laptop-based systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical instruction in diesel/auto mechanics is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair gasoline engines and powertrain components.
- Inspect and service hydraulic brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems and diesel emission systems.
- Perform routine fleet maintenance and inspections.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and bring your own tools or obtain them.
