Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery is seeking a Mechanic/Heavy Duty Vehicle Technician to diagnose and repair diesel engines, powertrain components, air brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, and diesel emission systems in our fleet. The role supports night and day operations, with sign-on incentives and paid overtime to ensure fleet readiness.

Key responsibilities include tool-based diagnostics, following shift lead directions, and performing inspections.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years technical instruction in diesel or auto mechanics preferred.
• CDL Class A license OR willingness to complete company-paid CDL training.

Responsibilities

• Use scan tool and laptop for diagnostics.
• Follow shift leader instructions.
• Work independently or with a team.
• Perform routine truck inspections and fleet maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Must have or obtain own tools to perform tasks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
