Job summary

Liberty Tree & Landscape Management is seeking a dependable Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks and landscape equipment. This role keeps crews operating safely and efficiently.

Based in Glenside, PA, the position requires performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and repairing trucks, trailers, chippers, and small engines. You will maintain service records, ensure safety compliance, and respond to occasional emergencies.

Qualifications

• Experience working on diesel and gas engines.
• Knowledge of small engine repair & maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus).
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills - will need own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Repair trucks, trailers, chippers, chainsaws, and small engines.
• Maintain service records and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure equipment meets safety standards.
• Respond to occasional emergency repairs as needed.
• Minor Welding.
