Job summary

Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to support the Vehicle Maintenance Manager in maintaining and repairing our resort vehicle and equipment fleet. You will diagnose, repair, and tune electrical systems, engines, and components while adhering to safety and maintenance programs.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, meticulous record-keeping, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a snowy, mountainous setting.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical training and troubleshooting skills.
• Be technically and mechanically minded, with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and write legibly and to use good composition skills to complete records and report forms.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, task-oriented environment and maximize the use of time.
• Must be able to work in an environment involving noise and wear hearing protection.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet MVR qualifications in the Fleet Safety Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in and lead maintenance and repair of the Dodge Ridge vehicle and equipment fleet.
• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot to determine malfunctions; repair electrical systems and perform tune-ups.
• Keep detailed work logs and records of repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventory and manage resources.
• Meet service-level objectives as set by the supervisor; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Assist with other maintenance projects as directed; weekly Fleet Maintenance Shop cleaning.
