Jensen Landscape Services in Martinez, CA is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support project and fleet teams with equipment repairs and preventative maintenance. The role involves diagnosing engine, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues across a range of medium-duty trucks and arbor equipment.

The position requires hands-on mechanical work, budgeting awareness, and the ability to handle long hours in warm weather, with responsibilities spanning shop duties and off-site service

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience working on medium-duty trucks and arbor-specific equipment.
• Experience with aerial equipment, wood chippers, skid steers, and similar gear.
• Proficient in using computer diagnostics software to pinpoint engine, hydraulic, electrical, or electronic issues.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project and Fleet Managers to assess equipment needs and repair problems.
• Monitor and schedule preventative maintenance and repair operations.
• Maintain and provide a report of all repairs and maintenance actions including parts and labor time on each piece of equipment.
• Stay within monthly and yearly shop budgets.
• Perform mechanical work using hand and power tools safely.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and proactively maintain fleet and equipment.
• Run equipment and service truck for repairs outside of shop needs.
• General shop and office upkeep.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
