Wasson Nursery is seeking a Fleet and Equipment Mechanic to inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair company vehicles, trailers, and landscape equipment to keep operations safe and reliable. This hands-on role supports daily field work by minimizing downtime, ensuring safety, and extending asset life.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of mechanic experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work with trucks, trailers, and outdoor power equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a mechanic (fleet, diesel, automotive, heavy equipment, or small engine).
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working on trucks, trailers, and outdoor power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on company vehicles, trailers, and landscape equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance services to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Identify safety concerns and ensure all vehicles and equipment are safe and effective.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Manage parts, tools, fluids, and inventory, including tracking usage and purchases.
