Job summary

Forward Air is seeking a skilled Mechanic to keep our tractors, trailers, and material-handling equipment safe, reliable, and road-ready. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, and hydraulic issues, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to breakdowns to support our expedited LTL and logistics network.

You’ll work in a safety-focused, performance-driven shop, collaborating closely with drivers and operations to minimize downtime while ensuring DOT and company standards

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems in heavy vehicles.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot DOT compliance issues.
