Job summary

Forward Air is seeking a skilled Mechanic to keep tractors, trailers, and material-handling equipment safe and road-ready. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, and hydraulic issues, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to breakdowns to support our expedited LTL and logistics network.

You’ll work in a safety-focused, performance-driven shop, collaborating with drivers and operations to minimize downtime while maintaining DOT and company standards across a nationwide

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of DOT and safety standards is preferred.
