Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. is seeking a Fleet Mechanic II in Irving, TX to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a range of fleet vehicles. You will document records, manage parts inventory, and mentor junior mechanics in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 2–3 years of fleet experience, the ability to work on all vehicle types, and owning your own tools. CDL A is preferred, forklift experience is required, and the shift runs Mon-Fri with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of fleet mechanic experience.
• Able to work on all types of vehicles.
• Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Supply your own set of tools for the job.
• Basic computer skills needed.
• CDL A preferred.
• Must have forklift operation experience.

Job Overview:

Fleet Mechanic II- Irving, TX

About The Role

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), trailers, vans, electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Disassembles and overhauls motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends and electrical systems.
• Complete all necessary documents, including vehicle records.
• Manage ordering and inventory of parts.
• Will act as a mentor to the class I mechanics.

Shift and Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 2:00PM to 10:30PM or when the work is complete
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

About You

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You have great communication skills. You are a problem solver with technical aptitude and a willingness to keep learning.

Total Rewards:

• Pay starting at $30.39 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $31.96 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.
