UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Mechanic in Louisville, KY to join our fleet maintenance team. You will service delivery vehicles, heavy‑duty tractors, and trailers using diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems.

You will troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls in a dynamic, safety‑conscious environment. Responsibilities include DOT compliance, operating various tools, and adapting to multiple shifts as needed.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of experience as an automotive mechanic.
• Experience with diesel and gasoline vehicles.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and scan tools.
• DOT inspections experience.

Responsabilidades

• Meets D.O.T requirements required by job assignment.
• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday.
• Sits infrequently, as required, throughout duration of workday.
• Exercises simple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, and reaching from foot level to above shoulder level as necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Operates standard and manual transmission.
• Operates power and pneumatic tools.
