Job summary

Forward Air is seeking a skilled Mechanic to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced transportation environment. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair tractors, trailers, and material-handling equipment that support expedited LTL, intermodal, and final mile operations across North America.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, brake, and engine systems, and respond to urgent repair needs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting tractors, trailers, and material-handling equipment.
• Familiarity with safety and DOT standards.
