Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in Gulfport, MS, is seeking a Fleet Mechanic 2 to maintain and repair our diesel and gasoline fleet, including trucks, trailers, pallet jacks, and forklifts. You will diagnose issues, perform PMs, and support parts inventory in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires OSHA-compliant practices, the ability to read and comprehend manuals, and strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Class A CDL preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• High school diploma or GED or 3 years related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic malfunctions; repair or replace components.
• Provide emergency roadside service when needed.
• Order parts, record usage, and manage stock inventory.
• Complete electronic work orders and document information.
• Assist teammates with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following GMPs.
