Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc. in Atlanta seeks a Fleet Mechanic 2 to maintain and repair our diesel and gasoline trucks, trailers, pallet jacks and forklifts as part of the company fleet.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs; CDL preferred, ability to read manuals, safety compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Three years of related experience or training preferred
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Class A CDL preferred
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic malfunctions and perform repairs
• Repair, rebuild or replace major components
• Respond to emergency roadside service as needed
• Order parts and manage stock inventory
• Complete electronic work orders and document maintenance activities
• Maintain clean, safe work environment following GMPs
• Assist teammates with troubleshooting and inspections
