Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Fleet Mechanic 2 to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair diesel and gasoline trucks, trailers, pallet jacks, and forklifts. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs, and service roadside assistance as needed.

The role requires a Class A CDL preferred, English literacy, and the ability to operate hand tools. We offer a robust benefits package and a CDL tuition reimbursement program.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English (required).
• High school diploma or GED; or three years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet equipment (class 1-8 diesel/gas trucks, trailers, pallet jacks, forklifts).
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/hydraulic malfunctions and perform repairs or component replacements.
• Provide emergency roadside service as needed.
• Order parts, document usage, and manage stock inventory.
• Complete electronic work orders and use the computerized maintenance system.
