Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• 2–5 years as fleet/heavy equipment mechanic with diesel vehicles and trailers.
• 1+ year experience with hydraulic systems and wiring diagrams; diagnostics and repair.
• 1+ year intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• ASE, OEM or manufacturer certifications preferred; knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, forklifts, and rental lift equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment; document repairs and maintenance.
• Coordinate with operators and vendors for complex repairs and downtime minimization.
• Maintain accurate records in CMMS; manage parts inventory and expendables.
