Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in Southbridge, MA to service our diesel and gas trucks, forklifts, tractors, and trailers. This on-site role requires performing PM service, diagnostics, and repairs to maintain fleet readiness.

You will annotate service records, work with shop equipment, and help control costs while ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two to five years proven fleet mechanic experience preferred.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment, hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Class A CDL license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mid-level mechanic work on gas and diesel vehicles.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify worn parts.
• Perform routine PM service and brake work.
• Maintain vehicle records of services and repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain shop organization.
• Assist with parts and inventory management.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Support other duties as assigned.
