Hoss Rentals Inc. is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and quality workmanship while ensuring accurate maintenance records. The ideal candidate will handle preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and on-call repairs, with experience reading technical manuals and using diagnostic tools.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience as a fleet, diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair procedures.
• Strong electrical diagnostic skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, suspensions, and other components.
• Upfit new vehicles with accessory upgrades.
• Perform DOT vehicle and trailer inspections.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and document maintenance activities.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve problems.
• Ensure all repairs comply with company standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Respond to road calls and emergency repairs as needed.
• Manage parts inventory and communicate parts requirements.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
