Job summary

Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain, repair, and service fleet equipment and turf gear. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and keep service records to ensure reliability.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment, a valid driver’s license, and a safety-focused mindset. We offer a fast-paced environment with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 1 year mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment.
• Working knowledge of hydraulics, hydrostatics, electrical systems, 2 and 4 stroke engines, and diesel engines.
• Lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Drug Free.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all fleet equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose failures and disassemble, repair and reassemble quickly and efficiently.
• Complete all necessary supporting documents, including maintenance and service records.
• Maintain cleanliness in areas of work and tools.
• Maintain a positive attitude and attendance record.
• Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner.
• Follow the direction of the Equipment Manager and Senior Turf Equipment Technician
• Work with or without direct supervision, must be a self-starter and team player
