Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a skilled auto mechanic in Wakefield, Virginia, to perform maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment. The role requires mechanical experience, diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an auto mechanic.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections.

Skills

Mechanical experience (fleet, diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment)

Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

High school diploma preferred; certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship preferred
