Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance on a fleet of vehicles for a Macon County municipality. The role runs 7:00AM–3:30PM, Monday to Friday, with a hourly wage of $20.00–$22.00.

Valid driver’s license is required, and basic maintenance skills are essential. Responsibilities include oil changes, brake and tire replacements, completing work orders, fueling vehicles, and ordering parts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tires).
• Ability to diagnose vehicle problems is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles (cars, small trucks, snowplows, dump trucks).
• Perform oil changes.
• Replace brakes and tires.
• Complete work order documentation.
• Fuel vehicles.
