Job summary

Standard Sales Company, L.P. is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair branch vehicles and equipment at our Louisville, KY location. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure records meet regulatory requirements.

The role requires a High School diploma, own tools, and willingness to work extended hours. CDL and DOT certification are preferred, with opportunities for professional growth and safety training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Must provide own tools sufficient for job responsibilities.
• Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous industrial mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and document maintenance actions.
• Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders.
• Coordinate repairs with outside vendors as needed.
• Provide emergency roadside services and light repairs.
• Train drivers on proper vehicle use and maintenance.
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
