Job summary

Global Medical Response in Riverside, CA, is seeking a Mechanic Intermediate for fleet maintenance and safety responsibilities across locations. This full-time role supports timely and high-quality transport services to patients by performing mechanical and electrical repairs and responding to field breakdowns.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of mechanic experience, holds two ASE certifications, and a valid driver's license. FEMA ICS training is preferred. Immediate placement offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Current valid driver's license.
• 2 years verifiable Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper / Associate experience.
• 2 ASE Certifications (Truck or Automotive). Prefer Brake and Steering / Suspension.
• MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification.
• ICS training IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800.

Responsibilities

• Mechanic Intermediate performs mechanical and electrical repairs per policies and procedures.
• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Utilizes parts computer program to locate needed parts and verify correct application.
• Mechanic Intermediate uses maintenance database to document all completed tasks / job assignments.

We\'re hiring a Mechanic Intermediate responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the AMR company. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanic Intermediate performs mechanical and electrical repairs per policies and procedures.
• Responds to vehicle breakdowns in the field when requested.
• Utilizes parts computer program to locate needed parts and verify correct application.
• Mechanic Intermediate uses maintenance database to document all completed tasks / job assignments.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent education.

Salary Range: $34.00 - $38.00 DOE (This rate applies to 8-hour shift and average 40 per week)
