Job summary

Orlando Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a Corporate Fleet Mechanic to perform repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles on-site. The role supports the Facilities, Engineering & Security department with adherence to policies and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' experience in fleet maintenance and holds a valid Florida driver's license with minimal points. Shift is Monday – Friday, on site in Orlando, with morning hours and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two (2) years’ experience in the maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles.
• Valid Florida driver's license with no more than six (6) points, at least 21 years of age, and insurable under Orlando Health’s carrier’s requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

• Transports vehicles to and from the fleet shop, transports parts and supplies needed for fleet maintenance, and assists the chief mechanic with other assigned duties.
• Provides functions needed to improve fleet vehicle appearance including washing, vacuuming, and other detailing functions.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Corporate Fleet Manager.

Position Overview

Under the direction of the Fleet Chief Mechanic, the Corporate Fleet Mechanic will perform the repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles.

• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Other Related Functions

• Adheres to Orlando Health and departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Corporate Fleet Manager.
