Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and equipment for mechanical and safety issues.
• Perform minor repairs and replacements under supervision (brakes, lights, belts, hoses).
• Assist in diagnosing basic mechanical, electrical, and system failures.
• Use hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other safety tools.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist with vehicle and equipment washing and detailing.
• Learn and apply technical knowledge of different vehicles and equipment in the fleet.

Purpose

The Fleet Technician I performs basic maintenance, repairs, and inspections on company vehicles and equipment, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. This is an entry-level position that works under the supervision of more experienced technicians and supervisors, providing opportunities to learn and develop skills in fleet maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and equipment for mechanical and safety issues.
• Perform minor repairs and replacements of components under supervision, such as brakes, lights, belts, and hoses.
