Job summary

Trillium Staffing in Grand Rapids is seeking entry to senior level Truck Mechanics to join our growing team. You will service, maintain and repair a fleet of heavy trucks, trailers, containers and equipment, performing PMs, basic repairs, troubleshooting, DOT inspections and documenting shop work.

Shifts typically begin around 5–6am and run until 3:30pm with some OT. Valid driver's license required (CDL not required). ASE certifications are preferred but not required. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• 1+ years diesel mechanic and/or heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Entry level candidates with some technical schooling will be considered.
• Service coordination experience in fleet, truck service or similar.
• Valid Driver’s license required - CDL is NOT required.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.

Tremendous Direct Opportunity for Entry Level Senior Level Truck Mechanics to join this growing organization in Grand Rapids!

Fleet Mechanics will service, maintain and repair a fleet consisting of a variety of heavy trucks, trailers, containers and heavy equipment. Fleet Mechanics will perform preventative Maintenance (PM), Basic Repairs and Troubleshooting, DOT Inspections and general Shop and Service documentation.

Pay range will be:

• Entry Level -$30-$34/hr
• Intermediate Level - $34-$37/hr
• Senior Level - $38-45/hr.
• Service Coordinator - $25-$30/hr. (less wrenching, more parts/scheduling, etc.)

Schedule will be 5-6am start time until 3:30pm generally with some OT available.

To be successful in this role, the Fleet Mechanics will have:

• 1+ years diesel mechanic and/or heavy equipment maintenance experience
