Job summary

Trillium Staffing in Grand Rapids is seeking entry to senior level Truck Mechanics to join our growing team. You will service, maintain and repair a fleet of heavy trucks, trailers, containers and equipment, performing PMs, basic repairs, troubleshooting, DOT inspections and documenting shop work.

Shifts typically begin around 5–6am and run until 3:30pm with some OT. Valid driver's license required (CDL not required). ASE certifications are preferred but not required. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• 1+ years diesel mechanic and/or heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Entry level candidates with some technical schooling will be considered.
• Service coordination experience in fleet, truck service or similar.
• Valid Driver’s license required - CDL is NOT required.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a fleet of heavy trucks, trailers, containers and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM), basic repairs and troubleshooting.
• DOT inspections and general shop/service documentation.
