Job summary

Universal Transportation Systems is seeking a full-time Fleet Mechanic to service our fleet in Cincinnati, OH. You will perform routine maintenance and repair on Dodge Caravans and yellow school buses, ensuring safety and reliability for student transportation.

Requirements include at least 5 years of automotive experience, a valid Ohio driver's license (CDL preferred), ASE certifications preferred, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Do you have at least 5 years of automotive mechanic experience and are looking to join a great team? Universal Transportation Systems is looking for a full-time Fleet Mechanic to join our team!

Universal Transportation Systems, LLC. has openings for friendly, reliable, and professional mechanics to join our growing company!

As a fleet mechanic, you will perform routine maintenance functions and automotive repair on Dodge Caravans, and yellow school buses for UTS.

Who are we?

UTS provides transportation for students of all age ranges to school. We primarily service the City of Cincinnati, Warren County, Fairfield, Middletown, Hamilton, Westchester, and Dayton, OH areas.

What are we looking for?

• Valid Ohio Driver's License (CDL Preferred)
• School Bus mechanic experience
• Insite, NED, Allison DOC experience.
• Five years of automotive mechanic experience
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. frequently, and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
• Current ASE certifications Preferred
• Light/ medium duty for minivans and school buses. This will be a multifaceted role.
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify equipment issues
