Job summary

Roehl Transport is seeking a Fleet Management Trainee to learn how to lead a team of up to 45 drivers and support safe, productive service for customers. The program includes a Fleet Manager mentor, online learning, classroom training, and hands-on practice to prepare you for a future Fleet Manager role.

You will gain a foundation in transportation operations, participate in team huddles, and complete practical training to develop coaching and problem-solving skills for drivers and daily

Qualifications

• No prior transportation experience required.
• 1-2 years in customer service, retail, restaurant, or hospitality.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication with diverse audiences via phone, email, and text.
• Ability to work with dual-screen computer monitors.

The Opportunity

We will provide you with comprehensive training including an experienced Fleet Manager mentor, online learning, classroom training, and more! Our goal is to provide you with the resources you need to be fully prepared to lead your own fleet of drivers as a Fleet Manager at the end of your training period.

In This Role, You Will

• Develop of working knowledge of the transportation/trucking industry

The Experience

This position requires no prior transportation experience. We are looking for someone with:

The Wage

You will earn an hourly wage and a bonus while in training. When you finish training, you'll earn a competitive salary and have the opportunity to earn a second monthly bonus. Additionally, you are eligible for
