Responsibilities

• Manage daily fleet maintenance and repair operations to minimize downtime.
• Oversee a high volume of repair orders and prioritize workflow for efficiency.
• Supervise shop operations and maintenance staff as appropriate.
• Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed and documented.
• Manage parts and inventory, including ordering, tracking, and cost control.
• Review repair estimates, invoices, and warranty claims for accuracy.
• Coordinate with clients, dealerships, and vendor service providers to ensure quality work.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, DOT requirements, and company policies.
• Analyze maintenance data and recommend improvements to operations.

Overview

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Fleet Maintenance Manager in Sacramento, CA. The Fleet Manager is responsible for leading a team of Technicians and Mechanics in an aggressive quality preventative maintenance repair program, including the maintenance of light and medium to large/heavy duty vehicles, and other equipment to ensure a safe and efficient fleet.

Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000/yr. based on experience plus additional annual bonus incentives

Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday, 10am-9pm

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
