The role focuses on coordinating daily operations, prioritizing repair orders, managing parts and inventory, ensuring DOT compliance, and driving safety and efficiency across the fleet with competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of fleet management or shop management experience.
• Strong technical/mechanical background (hands-on preferred).
• Proven history of managing high-volume repair orders.
• Demonstrated experience with inventory and parts management.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily fleet maintenance and repair operations, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Oversee a high volume of repair orders and prioritize workflow for maximum efficiency.
• Supervise shop operations and maintenance staff as applicable.
• Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followed and documented.
• Manage parts and inventory, including ordering, tracking, and cost control.
• Review repair estimates, invoices, and warranty claims for accuracy.
• Coordinate with clients, dealerships, and vendor service providers to ensure quality work.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, DOT requirements, and company policies.
• Analyze maintenance data and recommend improvements to operation.

Position Summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Fleet Maintenance Manager in Sacramento, CA. The Fleet Manager is responsible for leading a team of Technicians and Mechanics in an aggressive quality preventative maintenance repair program, including the maintenance of light and medium to large/heavy duty vehicles, and other equipment to ensure a safe and efficient fleet.

Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000/yr. based on experience plus additional annual bonus incentives

Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday, 10am-9pm

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
