  • This is a high‑responsibility role supporting time‑critical delivery operations
  • This role has structured working hours; however, flexibility is required, including availability for urgent after‑hours fleet support as needed
  • You will regularly manage challenges related to vehicle issues, compliance, and maintenance
  • Clear communication and proactiveness with drivers, dispatch, and leadership are essential - issues must be addressed early

You'll work closely with dispatch, drivers, vendors, and leadership using fleet management systems, GPS tracking, and maintenance tracking tools. • Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, inspected, and ready

  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards
  • Monitor driver compliance related to vehicle safety, inspections, and reporting
  • Partner with dispatch to ensure proper vehicle allocation and route readiness
  • Serve as a point of contact for drivers regarding vehicle issues, safety concerns, and support
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve all fleet‑related issues impacting operations
  • Manage vendor relationships including repair shops, leasing partners, and service providers
  • Track fleet performance metrics, costs, and maintenance activity
  • Maintain accurate records in fleet management systems and tracking tools
  • Communicate delays, risks, or issues to leadership and operations teams promptly
  • Build strong working relationships with drivers, vendors, customers, and internal teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to fleet efficiency and cost management
  • Maintain a professional, calm presence during high‑pressure situations
Work Schedule
  • Primarily office‑based, with on‑site interaction with vehicles, vendors, and operational teams supporting Arizona delivery operations
  • Standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility required to support evolving operational needs
  • Occasional after‑hours support may be required for urgent fleet issues
Training & Support
  • Structured onboarding and operational training
  • Hands‑on coaching with experienced leadership
  • Exposure to fleet management systems, GPS tracking, and compliance tools
  • Ongoing collaboration with dispatch, operations, and leadership teams
Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in fleet management or similar role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of diesel and gasoline vehicle maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, DOT regulations, and safety standards
  • Ability to identify minor vehicle issues and determine when internal repair or vendor support is required
  • Experience with fleet management systems and GPS tracking tools
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions quickly
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
  • Commitment to safety‑focused operations
