  2. Design and implement optimization algorithms for fleet operations.
  3. Collaborate with Tesla Fleetnet Software Engineers to deploy these algorithms at scale.
  4. Develop test plans and tools to evaluate algorithm efficacy and quality.
  5. Work with Validation teams to prevent regressions and ensure successful rollouts.
  6. Communicate analysis results and trade-offs to decision-makers and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience demonstrating exceptional ability.
  • Proficiency in exploratory statistical analysis and testing on large datasets.
  • Strong background in operations research techniques for fleet management/logistics problems.
  • Experience designing, analyzing, and implementing optimization schemes for real-world systems.
  • Understanding of operations research toolchains and their trade-offs.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, work hands-on, and execute open-ended projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Python and Golang, with experience in collaborative code development.
Benefits

Along with competitive pay, Tesla offers benefits from day 1, including:

  • Multiple medical plans with $0 payroll deduction.
  • Family-building, fertility, adoption, and surrogacy benefits.
